Elon Musk on Track to Become the World’s First Trillionaire
On September 29, 1916, newspapers reported a once-unimaginable milestone - John D. Rockefeller became the world’s first billionaire. Now, over a century later, we are on the brink of welcoming the first trillionaire.
For most of us, these massive numbers are hard to fathom. To put things in perspective - one million seconds amounts to just 1.6 weeks. One billion seconds is 31.7 years. One trillion seconds stretches across thirty-one thousand, seven hundred years.
According to a recent report from Informa Connect Academy, Elon Musk is projected to become the world’s first trillionaire by 2027, assuming his wealth continues to grow at an annual rate of 110%. Currently, Musk leads the Bloomberg Billionaires Index with a net worth of $251 billion.
Gautam Adani, Jensen Huang, and Prajogo Pangestu might also achieve this status shortly after Musk if their fortunes keep expanding at current rates.
